About The Gateway Global Group

The Gateway Global Group is a boutique consulting firm supporting SMEs, founder-led
businesses, family-owned enterprises, and diaspora-connected individuals and companies. The
firm helps clients strengthen governance, improve operations, refine strategy, and implement
growth initiatives through structured advisory engagements.

In addition to business advisory services, Gateway Global supports members of the diaspora
seeking to invest, build businesses, acquire property, or establish long-term wealth and
succession structures in Rwanda. The firm works with trusted professional partners to help
clients navigate local opportunities, coordinate investments, and develop practical estate and
succession planning strategies for future generations.

Our work typically follows three phases:

  • Business Diagnostic – Assessing the current state of the business, investment, or project.
  • Strategy Development – Designing practical recommendations, growth plans, governance frameworks, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Implementation Support – Coordinating execution, monitoring progress, and helping clients achieve measurable outcomes.

We are seeking a Project Manager to coordinate projects, manage consultants, and ensure the successful delivery of client engagements across business advisory, investment support, and diaspora wealth-planning initiatives.

Role Overview
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of consulting
engagements. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high
quality while maintaining strong client relationships.

The Project Manager will work closely with the Founder/Lead Consultant and may coordinate
analysts, junior consultants, and external specialists.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

  • Manage project timelines and deliverables across consulting engagements
  • Coordinate work between consultants, analysts, and external partners
  • Track project milestones and ensure deadlines are met
  • Organize project documentation and reporting

Client Engagement

  • Serve as a point of contact for clients during engagements
  • Schedule meetings, workshops, and progress updates
  • Ensure clear communication between the consulting team and clients


Implementation Support

  • Help translate strategy recommendations into actionable tasks
  • Monitor progress of implementation initiatives
  • Track KPIs and business performance metrics


Team Management

  • Coordinate junior consultants or analysts assigned to projects
  • Ensure tasks are clearly defined and completed on schedule
  • Support collaboration among project team members


Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare project reports and client updates
  • Maintain organized documentation of strategies, diagnostics, and implementation plans
  • Support preparation of client presentations and deliverables


Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas:

  • Business Administration
  • Management
  • Economics
  • Finance/Accounting/Audit
  • Project Management
  • Related field

Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in:
o Project management
o Consulting (business development, startups)
o Business operations
o Strategy implementation
o Governance

Experience working with SMEs or growing companies is strongly preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments

Preferred tools:

  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
  • Project management tools (Notion, Asana, Monday, etc.)
  • Basic financial or operational analysis

Success in This Role

A successful Project Manager will:

  • Keep client projects on schedule and organized
  • Ensure clear communication between clients and consultants
  • Help turn strategic recommendations into real implementation
  • Maintain high-quality project documentation and reporting

Compensation

Compensation will depend on project scope and experience and may include:

  • Project-based fee or monthly salary if hired permanent
  • Performance incentives tied to project outcomes
